We've all heard of a drive-in movie but how about a boat-in movie?
This summer boaters in Stillwater will be able to catch a movie on the St. Croix River. In the past, the city has shown movies in Lowell Park on Tuesdays in the summer.
Now for the first time, the city will use a doubled-sided screen, so people can watch the movie on both land or from their boats on the water.
"The St. Croix River is such a natural treasure and to have an excuse to come out on a summer night and enjoy the river, it's going to be fantastic," said organizer Cory Buettner.
This isn't the first time boat-in movies have been held in Minnesota.
Every summer since 2008, boaters on Lake Minnetonka have watched a movie on a big, floating screen.
