Despite some overnight rain, several quick brush fires started in the north metro.

Firefighters worked quickly to put out a grass fire Sunday afternoon at Pheasant Ridge Park in Coon Rapids.

According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, the fire started around 1:13 p.m. No one was injured and no structures were threatened.

Meanwhile, crews in Ramsey County responded to a fire in Arden Hills. A fire broke out around 3 p.m. on Thom Drive. Electrical wires on the ground sparked that fire.

At this point, additional details on the fires have not been released.
