The Vikings open the preseason on August 8 against the Oakland Raiders.

The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday it will play its first preseason game at TCF Bank Stadium on Friday, August 8. The Vikings will host the Oakland Raiders at 7:00 that night and then host the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, April 16 at 7:30 p.m. in its other home preseason game.
Minnesota will then play at Kansas City on Saturday, August 23 at 7:00 p.m., and at Tennessee on Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m.
The regular season schedule has not been released yet, but the Vikings do know the opponents it will play.
Minnesota will host divisional opponents Green Bay, Chicago and Detroit, along with the NFC South division's Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. The Vikings will also host the Washington Redskins, New England Patriots and New York Jets.
TCF Bank Stadium will be the site of Vikings home games for the next two seasons while the team's new stadium is constructed in Minneapolis.
