A dump truck and trailer caught fire Monday morning, causing traffic delays on Interstate 35E in Lino Lakes.
The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. in southbound lanes north of the Main Street exit, according to Lino Lakes Police Captain Kelly McCarthy.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but it appeared the truck was hauling "straw or hay," McCarthy said.
The incident caused backups on I-35E just south of the split, which lasted though the morning, she said.
No injuries were reported.
