This past week I got the chance to watch a review copy of Shout Factory’s “Transformers Energon: The Complete Series” on DVD.

As you may know, I am a huge fan of “Transformers,” and I really enjoyed “Transformers Energon” a lot.

I thought that it was exciting, and I really thought the animation looked awesome. The Transformers were extremely detailed and looked amazing.  The backgrounds were beautifully drawn and breathtaking.

I really liked the story and thought that it was very interesting, full of nonstop action and very well written.

“Transformers Energon” is the second part in the “UNICRON Trilogy.”  It has been ten years since the destruction of Unicron and a mysterious enemy has sent an army of deadly Transformers called “Terrorcons” to Earth to gather energy (Energon) that is needed to destroy the Universe.  The Autobots lead by Optimus Prime must try and stop the mysterious enemy and the Decepticons that is led by the evil leader Megatron.  The Autobots and Decepticons eventually go to war and the Autobots must try and save Earth from total destructions.

I could not stop watching the series, because I wanted to see what was going to happen next.  I wanted to see who the mysterious enemy was and who was going to win the battle between the Autobots and Decepticons.

“Transformers Energon: The Complete Series contains all 51 episodes on seven DVDs.  The DVDs are packaged very nicely in a protective hard clam shell.

There were two seasons of “Transformers Energon,” and season one is on two DVDs and season two is on five DVDs.

There is a very nice, reversible cover and on one side it lists all of the episodes, seasons, and what DVD you can find them on.  I thought that this was very helpful.

I really enjoyed Shout Factory’s “Transformers Energon: The Complete Series” a lot.  It is a very exciting and well written show.  The animation is awesome and the Transformers look amazing.  If you are a fan of Transformers then I would highly recommend that you check out this set.  You will not be disappointed

“Transformers Energon: The Complete Series” is not rated.
