After taking UCLA's Anthony Barr and Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater in the first round, the Vikings have five picks to go on days two and three of the 2014 NFL Draft.

They used the first pick on Day Two of the draft to select a defensive end.

With the eighth pick in the third round, the Vikings used the 72nd overall pick to select Oregon State defensive end Scott Crichton.  He is a 6-foot3, 273 pound pass rusher who recorded 22 1/2 sacks in 38 games at Orgeon State.

With the final pick of the regular third round, the Vikings took Georgia Southern running back Jerick McKinnon. McKinnon, who played both quarterback and running back in college, was pursued by some other teams in the draft as a defensive back.  He's 5-foot-9, 209 pounds and ran the 40-yard-sprint in 4.41 seconds.  McKinnon's Georgia Southern team famously upset perennial national power Florida last fall.

On Saturday, the Vikings do not have a pick in the fourth round, two picks in the fifth, then one pick in each of the final two rounds.
