There is a consumer alert for parents who may have a Nap Nanny infant recliner.

Safety experts say if you have one you should get rid of it.

There is a voluntary recall of all models of its Nap Nanny and Nap Nanny Chill infant recliners and covers. This recall is announced as part of the settlement of an administrative case filed by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in December 2012, which sought a mandatory recall of the Nap Nanny and Chill products.

The CPSC says six infants have died while sleeping in it. The latest was an 8-month-old in New Jersey. She suffocated last week, after getting caught between the device and the crib bumper.

The recliners were recalled last year after nearly 100 safety incidents were reported in the U.S.
