Howard Pulley, Minnesota's AAU team, may no longer have Apple Valley's Tyus Jones or DeLaSalle's Reid Travis, yet they still have planety of players garnering the attention of Division-I programs.
Last week KSTP's Darren Wolfson spoke with DeLaSalle point guard Jarvis Johnson. This week I chatted with a couple other players on the team. Among them were Amir Coffey of Hopkins, Alex Illikainen of Grand Rapids, Brock Bertram of Apple Valley and Sacar Amin of DeLaSalle.
Coffey is entering his junior year of school and still has plenty of time to decide on his future. The Gophers have shown lots of interest in him and he said talks with the program have been fluid. The other three are all entering their senior years and are starting to get a feel for what schools are the most serious about adding them.
