Roseville police are looking for the two suspects who held up a pawn shop at gunpoint and shot an employee Monday.

It happened at the Pawn America on Rice Street around 5:45 p.m., according to police at the scene.

Police say when the two suspects entered the store, one immediately started firing his pistol with one of the rounds hitting a 27-year-old employee in the leg. The second suspect smashed a glass display and removed an undisclosed amount of fine jewelry and watches, police said.

The suspects then left the scene in a dark colored, 4-door Chevy Cobalt and were last reported traveling westbound on Larpenteur Avenue towards Dale Street.

The employee shot in the leg suffered non-life threatening injuries and was being treated at a local hospital. No one else was shot.

No arrests have been made. The two suspects are described as black men, medium to heavy set, believed to be in their early to mid-20s, according to police.

Anyone with information should contact Minnesota Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
