The fourth day of deliberations has ended without a verdict in the trial over former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura's defamation lawsuit against late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.
The jury will break for the weekend and restart deliberations Monday morning.
Hamline Law Professor Joe Daly weighed in on why the jury is taking this long to deliberate. He says defamation cases are complex, and the instructions for the jury are typically long. He says if the jury had already determined that there was no defamation, the case would be over. He believes the jury is likely debating how much money Ventura is owed, but he says it's hard to know.
