The Minnesota State Fair brings in celebrities from across the country, but this year there is a different kind of celebrity in attendance. Social media stars and musicians from Vine and YouTube will be performing in a "fast-paced, energetic concert" called DigiTour.

These social media leaders have more than 7 million followers and subscribers combined, tour organizers say. Before You Exit has toured with Cody Simpson, The Wanted and The Jonas Brothers.

Cimorelli is made up of six sisters who were discovered on YouTube. They perform a cappella pop hits and have more than 2.7 million subscribers on their YouTube channel.

A few of the social media stars were invited to the Teen Choice Awards last week, being nominated in the "Web" category.

Two of the performers, Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky, longtime friends since childhood, created a Vine account together, which is an app that creates seven second videos running on a loop. They gained fame through Vine and have started recording music.

Ryan Seacrest, a radio personality, television host, and producer, sent them well wishes as they began their tour in Cleveland.

Jack and Jack have also received recognition from a fellow artist, Hoodie Allen. Allen cracked the Top 10 of Billboard’s Uncharted Territory in 2011.

The performance is at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24. You can purchase tickets online; they do not include entry into the fairgrounds.

KSTP will be at the event filming and interviewing some of the performers.
