If you haven’t heard the birds finally chirping again, maybe you’ve felt the seasonal shift in your wardrobe. It’s time to put away the sweaters and winter boots, but what’s the best way to store them? Twin Cities Live reporter Kelli Hanson stepped inside a professional organizer’s closet to get her strategy for sorting, storing and putting it all away.
Lauren Alsup is the owner of Neat Method Twin Cities and says it all starts with a good hanger. She loves Minnesota made hangers, Bend & Hook.
Lauren also says invest in weather tight totes and a labeler! Label each tote with the person’s name and exactly what’s inside! Make sure your items have a place in your closet. Seasonal items stay hanging on one side, and items you wear all year long should be on the other.
Neat Method Twin Cities is offering a Home or Office Organizing deal for Twin Cities Live viewers. Use promo code NEATTCL and get 10% off if you book before June 1st.
