The new play premiering at The Play Ground this Thursday called "The Cabin" takes a unique look at family dynamics and relationships through a daughter who has not seen her father in years.
The young playwright of "The Cabin" is UMD senior Caity Shea Violette. She stopped by Good Morning Northland Tuesday to talk about the production of her piece. "The Cabin" opens on Thursday at the Play Ground in Duluth's Tech Village.
Violette said that she has thought the question, "What' your relationship with your father?" yielded some interesting results. That, and her interest in the family gave her the inspiration for this production.
"The Cabin" runs Thursday through Saturday and Sept. 20 to 22 at the Play Ground. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit this link.
