We are deep into political season. And if you are looking to get away from all the attack ads and campaigning and find some humor in politics, you might want to head to the Play Ground Theater.
Two actors from the new play "November" stopped by Good Morning Northland Wednesday to talk about the production from Rubber Chicken Theater. It opens on Thursday.
Chris Nollet plays the role of President Charles Smith. And Matthew Northrup plays Chief Dwight Grackle.
Nollet said that his character is a terrible president who knows he is about to lose his upcoming re-election. So he makes as many back door deals as he can. One of the deals is with Northrup's character, and the two get in a confrontation.
"November" opens at The Play Ground Theater in Duluth's Tech Village Thursday at 7:30 p.m. It runs from Oct. 4-6 and 11-13. For more information, visit www.rubberchickentheater.com
