Mystery fans got a double dose of their favorite genre over the weekend. Four authors co-wrote two different mystery novels that were featured at the Double Trouble Mystery event in Duluth, Sunday.

Mary Donlon is the co-author of "Headaches Can Be Murder." She, along with the co-author of "Murder at Spirit Falls," Barbara Deese, stopped by Good Morning Northland Monday.

"Headaches Can Be Murder," was also co-authored by Marilyn Rausch. Donlon said that the format is a novel within a novel, about an novice crime writer in a small Iowa town. Though it is primarily a crime story, it also has strong elements of humor and romance.

"Murder at Spirit Falls," was co-authored by Dorothy Olson. It follows the members of the No Ordinary Women book club, who go on a cabin retreat in Wisconsin. Soon they are involved in solving a murder.

Both books are available at local book stores in the Northland. Also, both sets of co-authors will be writing sequels to these novels.
