Animal Allies: Pico de Gato

If you are looking for a new feline friend, then now is the best time to visit Animal Allies in Duluth. All cats have no adoption fees right now.

Sarah Ojard from the shelter stopped by with a cat named Pico de Gato. He came into the shelter as a stray, Ojard said.

However, a recent cat hoarding case in Duluth is now filling Animal Allies with cats. In the wake of that case, the shelter is offering free adoption fees for all cats to make room for the dozens of other cats coming into Animal Allies.

Besides the no-fee cat adoptions, Animal Allies will be holding its annual Fur Ball event this Saturday. That takes place at the Northland Country Club in Duluth. There are still tickets available. You can RSVP by calling (218) 722-9084 or emailing Jenna Johnson at jenna@animalallies.net
