Living in Duluth, being outdoors in the winter is a big part of the area's culture. Many skiers like to head to Chester Bowl during the winter month. Now they are looking for some help.
Thom Storm is the executive director of the Chester Bowl Improvement Club. He stopped by Good Morning Northland to talk about the 5th annual Chester Bowl Tasting and Silent Auction happening Saturday.
The event features local pizza, beer, wine and coffee. There is also a silent auction which includes ski packages at Lutsen, hotel package in Duluth and even a signed autograph by Minnesota Viking Percy Harvin, Storm said.
The Tasting and Silent Auction runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Midi Restaurant in the Fitger's Complex in Duluth. Tickets are available at the door or at the Fitger's Wine Cellar.
