It might be the most fun someone can have signing their name! Today is National Signing Day for athletes committing to colleges.
Lakeview Christian Academy hoops star Anders Broman put it on paper after recently giving a verbal decision to division one South Dakota State for next season. Minnesota's single season scoring leader is looking forward to joining the Jackrabbitts.
"I am just really excited to go out and play for them. A good division one school and they made the national tournament last year and hopefully, we can make it a couple more when I am there and hopefully, do some damage there," says Broman.
Esko's Savanna Trapp is also headed west, but a little further. All the way to LA as the six-foot-nine inch center will become a Bruin as she commits to division one UCLA.
"I was not focused at all in school today, thinking how many more minutes and how many more hours before Signing Day! I am so excited and it is kind of surreal that this really happening and it is all coming together," says Trapp.
Kenzie Kane is staying in the Northland as the senior hoopster from Grand Rapids will become a Bulldog by committing to UMD for next season. Kane plays guard and forward.
