It is a rivalry that dates back to 1954 and this weekend, UMD and North Dakota will match-up for the 219th and 220th times in men's college hockey.

North Dakota holds the edge with 135 wins (135-75-8) in the series. The Bulldogs will go to Grand Forks in search of their first WCHA win of the season as they were swept at Nebraska-Omaha last weekend.

North Dakota is ranked sixth in the nation and they are coming off a split at St. Cloud State.

The series opens Friday night at 7:37 pm at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
