In Minnesota, people love the color purple, especially if they're Vikings fan. But on Friday, people will be donning purple for a good cause.
Bob Fox is a volunteer with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. He stopped by Good Morning Northland Friday to talk about Purple for a Purpose.
Folks around the country and here in the Northland will be wearing purple to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer. According to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death. The five year survival rate is just six percent.
But Fox and others are hoping to change that. Fox shared his story about his wife, who passed away two years ago from pancreatic cancer.
