In an unprecedented move, the International Paralympic Committee announced Monday, that the Telemark Resort, in Cable, Wisconsin, will play host to the 2013 Paralympic Biathlon and Cross Country Ski World Cup.

Telemark hosted the event in January, and although the event is not typically held in North America two years in a row, a last minute cancellation by a European site opened the doors to the resort again.

According to the Cable Area Chamber, the event will take place from January 13-20, and will also serve as the first qualifier for the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
