Fans of the classic musical "Singin' in the Rain," will be in for a treat starting this week at the Duluth Playhouse. It will be opening there Thursday night starting at 7:30 p.m.
Paige Kohler is the dance captain on the production. She stopped by Good Morning Northland Tuesday to talk about her role in "Singin' in the Rain."
One unique aspect of the Playhouse's production is that the audience may get a little wet. Kohler said real rain will be used on stage.
The rain also made it a little bit of a challenge for the dancers. But Kohler said a little duct tape on the bottom of the shoes can make a huge difference.
"Singin' in the Rain," runs through Dec. 16 at the Duluth Playhouse. Wednesday through Saturday, the show begins at 7:30 p.m. The matinee on Sundays begins at 2 p.m. There is also two Saturday matinee shows on Dec. 8 and 15 starting at 2 p.m.
