Bulldogs, Huskies Skate to Tie

nullHOUGHTON, Mich. (AP) - Michigan Tech scored twice in the last 6:02 to earn a 4-4 tie with Minnesota-Duluth. Blake Pietila scored at 13:58 of the third period in Saturday's Western Collegiate Hockey Association matchup.

Steven Seigo sent the game into overtime with 50 seconds left. It was 2-2 in the third when Tony Cameranesi and Caleb Herbert scored to give UMD (4-7-3, 2-5-3) a 4-2 lead with 11:10 to play.

Austin Farley had a goal and an assist, and Andy Welinski had three assists for the Bulldogs. Jujhar Khaira had a goal and an assist and Alex Petan three saves for the Huskies (4-7-1, 3-6-1).

Michigan Tech's Kevin Genoe made five of his 33 saves in overtime, while Minnesota-Duluth's Aaron Crandall didn't face a shot in OT and ended with 22 saves.
