The Northland is known for its aesthetic beauty. And there is no better way to capture our landscapes than through photography.

Photographer Craig Blacklock released two new books that show off our area. One is called "Apostle Islands: From Land to Sea." The other is "Pictured Rocks: From Land to Sea."

Blacklock will be all around the Northland at book signings and exhibitions of his work this week and next. On Friday, he will be at Apostle Islands Booksellers at 7 p.m.

On Dec. 12, Blacklock will be at the Great Lakes Aquarium in Duluth for a book sigining from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. His work will also be on display there through the end of the year.

Blacklock will be at his personal studio in Moose Lake on Dec. 14 and 15 for the Starving Artists Sale.  He will also be at the Waters of Superior in Canal Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 15.
