If you haven't finished your holiday shopping yet, the Frost River Trading Company in West Duluth might be a place to check out.
The traditional outdoor goods shop is showing off how they make some of the crafts they sell. On Friday evening, workers from Empire Wool and Canvas featured a class on making those classic looking rawhide and fleece mittens.
Manager Dawn Moen said the event showing off their wares is show people the hands behind the gifts they buy.
"I think it brings an appreciation to the public about our products and any local product. A lot of people ask us where is our product made, and they don't really understand that is made in the building," Moen said.
Frost River is hosting a "handcraft weekend," which runs through tomorrow. Shoppers can continue to stop in and see those live demonstrations.
