1 cup butter, softened, 2/3 cup sugar, 2 cups flour, apricot and strawberry jam
Glaze: 1 cup confectioners sugar, 2-3 tsp of water, and 1/2 tsp of almond extract
In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add flour until well mixed. (Use your hands, it makes the dough better).
Divide into four balls. Then roll out into four troughs about a foot long, using your fingers to make the dip in the middle.
Spoon in the jam of your choice in the middle of the trough.
Back at 350 degrees for 14-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cut right away after you take them out.
Wait a few minutes before drizzling glaze.
