Tragic Accident Claims Child's Life

The Kanabec County Sheriff's office is investigating a tragic Christmas day fatality.

The office said that a 7-year-old boy from Whited Township was struck by a vehicle at his home.

The child was brought to the hospital in Mora, and then airlifted to a metro hospital. But he did not survive his injuries.

The accident happened around 6:30pm on Christmas.
