It's been three months now, since Zak Gamache and Mitch Lingren lost their lives. The two had been working as Carlton County's survey crew, and traveling on Highway 210, when a car crashed into them head-on.

In the aftermath, organizer Barb Blassa said she felt compelled to do something. She worked with the two men at the Transportation Department.

"It's been healing, to see the love from all of the donors, from money donations to people bringing in things for the silent auction or raffles. People are getting together to make quilts, build furniture, and it's been overwhelming," she said.

Money from the fundraiser will help the families, and establish scholarships for Lingren's two children and a scholarship in Gamache's name.

The event is Friday, January 11th, at the Clyde Iron Works.

Doors open at 3pm, and will stay open until 1am!

You can experience 6 different musical acts, including: Todd Eckhart, Don't Panic, Centerville All-Stars, Virgil Caine, and Rock-a-Billy Revue.

Tickets are $20 at the door. For more info:
