BUFFALO, Minn. (AP) - A man who was arrested but not charged in the killing of a Cold Spring police officer has made bail on a felony stalking charge.
Thirty-four-year-old Ryan Larson was booked into the Wright County Jail Friday and later released after making bail.
Sheriff's Capt. Greg Howell tells the Star Tribune (http://bit.ly/UVCFuC ) Larson is again accused of violating conditions of his release on the stalking charge. Larson was released from jail on Monday after posting bail. He was jailed for violating a no-contact order involving a former girlfriend. Charges against Larson say he repeatedly had contact and emailed the woman on Nov. 29, the night Cold Spring Officer Tom Decker was killed.
Decker was making a welfare check on Larson when the officer was killed behind a Cold Spring bar. Larson was jailed following the shooting and later released.
