MINNETRISTA, Minn. (AP) - Authorities have taken four people, including a child, to the hospital after a car went through the ice on Lake Minnetonka in the western Twin Cities.
KSTP-TV reports the Hennepin County sheriff's office says it happened just after 5p.m. Friday in Minnetrista.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Lisa Kiava (kee-AH'-vuh) tells the Star Tribune a child was removed from the submerged car and taken to the hospital.
No information was immediately available about the condition of the child and the other passengers.
The vehicle is completely submerged.
