An adult male was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery after suffering a knife wound in Superior Monday night.
Superior Police said responded to a report of a stabbing incident on the 1600 block of N. 16th Street around 10 p.m.
Authorities said they found the victim's location and life-saving efforts were performed. The victim was stabilized at the scene and brought to a Duluth hospital where underwent surgery.
Superior Police said it is unclear whether the victim's knife wound was self-inflicted. But police said everyone involved in the incident was accounted for, or at least initially interviewed.
An investigation is ongoing, authorities said, and more details will be available as more information is gathered.
