Anna Sjodin from Animal Allies stopped by Good Morning Northland Thursday with a "mystery" for viewers, Mystery the cat, that is.

The fluffy, black cat has been at Animal Allies for a while, Sjodin said. Mystery was brought in from the Lake County Humane Society in November.

Mystery has two stars at the shelter. This month that means that is $20 off her adoption fee. It is part of the shelter's Mardi Gras stars event. Animal Allies employees put stars next to the pets they say are their favorites. For each star, that pet's adoption fees are $10 off.

Animal Allies is also holding an event at Yarn Harbor in Duluth on Saturday. The store will be donating a portion of the money it makes to the shelter. Adoptable pets will also be there as well, Sjodin said. Yarn Harbor is located at the Mount Royal Shopping Center.
