Police: NW Ontario Man Used Mini-Excavator to Damage Cars

Ontario Provincial Police have filed four charges against a Kenora man accused of using a mini-excavator to damage several vehicles.

The incident happened last Thursday on Darlington Drive in Kenora.  The OPP says officers observed a lone male operating the mini-excavator in an erratic manner, pushing into vehicles on to the roadway.  Officers deployed a conducted energy weapon to arrest the man.

John Contini, 46, is charged with mischief under $5000, mischief endangering life, unauthorized possession of a weapon and knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon.
