BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) - Brance Orban had two goals as Bemidji State snapped a 12-game winless streak Friday with a 4-2 win over Minnesota-Duluth.
The Beavers (6-17-6, 5-13-5) had gone 0-9-3 in its previous 12 games. It was the team's longest winless streak in 12 years. Minnesota-Duluth (1-16-3, 8-12-3) has lost six straight games. Ben Kinne and Radoslav Illo scored for Bemidji State. Goalie Andrew Walsh had 18 of his 38 saves in the second period.
Minnesota-Duluth got goals from Andy Welinski and Cal Decowski, and 23 saves from goalie Alex Fons.
