WAKEFIELD, Mich. (AP) - Authorities in Michigan's western Upper Peninsula say a 16-year-old high school student was taken into custody after a threat was posted on Facebook.
State police said in a statement that officials with the Wakefield-Marenisco School District notified them Monday about the posting on the social networking website.
The teen was taken into custody without incident. Police say the posting included a threat to shoot students who had been disciplined for bullying last week.
Classes remained in session Monday in the district.
