Duluth authorities responded to an unusual accident on Superior Street on Wednesday--a rollover with no victim inside.

The Duluth Police Department's Public Information Officer Jim Hansen said police and fire crews responded to a single vehicle rollover at the intersection of 6th Avenue West and Superior Street just before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Hansen said a witness did see a man behind the wheel manage to crawl out, and was holding his arm as he fled to the nearby Incline Station Bowling Center. The man than allegedly took off out the back door.

The driver is described as a black male, approximately 6', 250 lbs., with short dark hair.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
