St. Paul, Minn. - Regulation wasn't enough for Hermantown and Breck in the State A Semifinals of the Boy's Hockey Tournament at the Xcel Energy Center. This one went to double overtime and that is where Zach Kramer's goal sent Hermantown to the State A Finals with a 4-3 win. Hermantown
opened up the scoring in the first period when Chris Benson connected. Thomas Lindstrom tied it for the Mustangs in the second period. In the third period, Breck would take the lead twice and Hermantown would tie it twice to force overtime. Travis Koepke had two goals for the Hawks while Jack O'Connor and Matt Colford scored for Breck. Colford also had two assists.
Hermantown will play for the State A Finals on Saturday at 12:00 pm. The game will be televised by WDIO/WIRT-TV.
