A house fire in Superior last week has been ruled an arson.
The blaze started in the basement on North 23rd Street, and firefighters said it was intentionally set. It's still being investigated by the Superior Police Department. Officers said an accelerant was found at the scene.
The home suffered $20,000 in damage.
The owner's puppy was in the house during the fire and was unconscious when firefighters rescued him. A couple days later the dog was able to go home from an area veterinarian clinic and has made a full recovery.
