Superior, Wisc. - The "War at Wessman" boxing event on Saturday in Superior, Wisconsin will not include former Viking Ray Edwards, who is out with an ear infection. But, a number of local fighters will still compete on the event at Wessman Arena.
"Now that I am starting to fight and get these fights out there and these first round knockouts, I'll take them and definitely, I could consider myself rising up to be one of the stars and I am definitely going to go at that, that is a goal," says Anderson.
A total of eight bouts are on the card. Duluth native Joey "The Don" Lorenzi (1-5-1) will be in the co-main event. It is his first fight since September as the veteran battles newcomer Lexie Keshick, who is 1-0.
"I am feeling the strongest that I ever have in my career and obviously, with time comes knowledge and I feel a lot smarter and comfortable. I am coming down to my normal weight class again. I normally walk around at 210 pounds, which is a little heavy for me and so I am coming back down to 175, my natural weight class," says Lorenzi.
