France is well known for many things, especially wine and gourmet food. But what foods go best with which wines?
David Devere is a licensed wine expert in Duluth. He stopped by Good Morning Northland Wednesday to show us and talk about some upcoming classes he has at Chester Creek Cafe in Duluth.
Devere used Chardonnay and bleu cheese to emphasize his point. The two go together well because the dryness of the wine cuts through the flavor of the cheese. He said to pick a food and a wine that compliment each other.
To find more tips about wine, Devere offers free classes at Chester Creek Cafe every Wednesday this month. They are a half hour long and begin at 6:30 p.m.
