Before there was Taylor Swift or Ke$ha, there was big bands and big radio shows. UW-Superior theatre students take audiences back to that time with a new musical.
John Munson and Nick Montecalvo from UWS stopped by Good Morning Northland Friday to talk about "1940's Radio Hour." It opens Friday at UW-Superior's Manion Theater at 7:30 p.m.
Munson said that the set is amazing and it has an actual sound wagon on stage. He also said it has some awesome music from a pit band.
"1940's Radio Hour," runs on April 12-14, 19-21. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday performances begin at 2 p.m.
