Folks were flinging food at the Duluth Art Institute on Sunday to help celebrate a new exhibit and kick off Homegrown Music Festival.
The food fight helped to introduce David Moreira's (known as SkatRadioh in the art community) food-based artwork.
There was also specially crafted foods for eating as well.
Duluth bands Indulge and Bratwurst — both food-themed — gave performances during the messy art opening.
Moreira's work will be on display in the Corridor and Steffl Galleries until June 2nd.
