7 Men, 2 Women Face Drug Charges in St. Louis Co.

Numerous narcotics investigations in St. Louis County have resulted in nine people being charged with drug crimes, according to authorities.

They said the arrests happened as a result of investigations done by the Boundary Waters Drug Task Force.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said the group includes seven men and two women.

•Bradley Keith Smith, 21, of Aurora is charged with felony sale of a controlled substance (heroin)

•Ashley Marie Hansen, 27, of Chisholm is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), felony exposing a child to methamphetamine paraphernalia, and petty misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia

•Ryan Jeffery Shoen, 25, of Chisholm faces the same charges as Hansen

•Timson Ray Carrier Jr., 27, of Eveleth is charged with two felony counts of the sale of a controlled substance in a park zone (heroin), and three more felony counts of sales of a controlled substance (heroin)

•Zeb David Pickar, 34, of Eveleth is charged with felony sales of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)

•Ricky Leroy Knaffla, 56, of Iron is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation

•Bart John Ziebarth, 33, of Keewatin is charged with two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of a controlled substance (prescription medications)

•Jonathan Robert Morin, 19, of Mt. Iron is charged with two felony counts of sales of a controlled substance (marijuana), and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana)

•Alicia Nicole Cooper, 19, of Virginia is charged with felony sale of a controlled substance (heroin)

Authorities said they were formally charged in St. Louis County District Court between March 28, and April 23. They said each person will appear in court again before the end of May.
