Duluth, Minn. - Marshall School has placed the girls’ hockey program on hold for the 2013-14 season.
According to Athletic Director Kevin Snyder, “We will take next year to assess the program’s strengths and determine at what level and in what form the team will compete should it return to competition.”
Marshall competed for two seasons at the 14U B-level. They played in the Minnesota Meltdown this past weekend and will practice into May. The team’s roster is made up of Marshall middle and upper school students. According to Snyder, the school will consider returning to play through a DAHA sponsorship and Minnesota Hockey or look at competing in the MSHSL.
