A 23-year-old Duluth man was arrested on Thursday, after St. Louis County Sheriff deputies found him slumped behind his steering wheel in a Hermantown McDonald's drive-thru.
Hermantown police say the St. Louis County Sheriff's were the first on the scene at 5:59 a.m.
When they confronted the man, they say he identified himself only as "Sheriff's Office." When deputies asked where the driver was coming from, he again said "Sheriff's Office."
The driver was alright, but the responding deputy says he appeared "out of it."
Hermantown police arrived on the scene and arrested the driver on charges of third-degree DWI.
