One show to rule them all is here in Duluth this weekend. It is the "One Man Lord of the Rings," at the Teatro Zuccone in downtown.

The star of this "precious" show is Charlie Ross, who also performed his one man "Star Wars" show in Duluth. He stopped by Good Morning Northland Friday to talk about this weekend's performances.

Ross said getting permission from the makers of the "Lord of the Rings" series was the hardest part. He said it took five years to be able to get the rights to perform his "Lord of the Rings" show.

Now, Ross said he is about to perform his Lord of the Rings show in Singapore, Las Vegas, and Sydney, Australian.

All the movies combined add up to about 12 hours of footage. Ross said he tries to condense the show to about an hour and a half. He said even though there are big editorial jumps, the audience does get to see all the characters in the series. He even does a pretty good Gollum impression!

Check out the One Man Lord of the Rings Friday through Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Teatro Zuccone. There are also two matinees on Saturday and Sunday starting at 2 p.m.
