Runtski might look like a big dog, but she really does act like a runt!
Sarah Ojard from Animal Allies stopped by Good Morning Northland Thursday with Runtski. Ojard said they believe Runtski is a little over a year old and is a Husky-Lab mix. She is located at the Duluth shelter.
Runtski loves to play, Ojard said. She also loves to swim and is great on car rides. She also has lived with other dogs, she said.
This weekend might be the best time to bring Runtski home. Ojard said adoptions for dogs 40 pounds or over are $100 off this weekend. She said there are a lot of dogs at the shelter right now.
On June 8, the shelter's Walk for Animals takes place at Bayfront Park in Duluth. Ojard said spots are still available. It is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Animal Allies. Registration begins at 10 a.m.
