A 38-year-old man is injured after crashing into Chester Creek Saturday night, according to Duluth Police.
Police responded to a call of a hit and run Saturday at 7:27 p.m., according to Public Information Officer Jim Hansen.
A vehicle hit a parked car on the 500 block of N. Ninth Ave. E. The car then reportedly ran a stop sign, and hit a power pole, a house and a fence before crashing into Chester Creek.
Hansen said trees had to be cut down to extricate the vehicle. The driver, a 38-year-old man, was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Charges are pending, and the case is under investigation.
