Grand Rapids, MN – Lake Country Power line crews have restored power for more than 650 members following Thursday night's storm. The power was restored for members in areas including Cook, Orr, Clear Lake, Winton, Aurora, Keewatin, north of Grand Rapids and north of Cloquet.
The outages were caused by two different storms that blew through northern Minnesota on Thursday with strong winds, rain and lightning. The first storm happened at 9:00 p.m., with the second storm happening at 2:00 a.m.
Both storm blasts caused trees to fall onto power lines.
