The annual motorcycle ride in Carlton raised money for a rider suffering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Over 100 bikers gathered at the 3rd Base Bar in Carlton on Saturday. The Spirit of Service ride usually raises money for local veterans, but this year the riders turned out to rally behind Aaron Dittberner.
The long-time supporter of the ride was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in April. His wife, Pagie Dittberner, said the medical treatments are expensive and leave Aaron unable to work. She said the donations and all the support is unbelievable.
"It's so overwhelming it feels so good to have such a great group of friends and family it's going to be a really emotional day for us but we're looking forward to it," Dittberner said.
Trek is a round trip of over 100 miles and is expected to raise about $6,000 for the Dittberners.
